Ron Chereskin, a long standing creative force in the world of art and fashion. Ron is considered a vibrant innovator and respected member of New York’s art and design community.

Ron rose to prominence bringing his artistic creativity  to the world of fashion and home design, he brough his personal street style and innovation and made a major impact on the art and fashion world.

Ron pioneered new fabrications and techniques as well as new directions in menswear.

Ron grew up in Brooklyn, New York and at a young age studied at the Art Students League in New York City. He began his career in the world of illustrations, where he won many awards for his powerful work for magazines , advertising campaigns, record and book jackets Etc. He also excelled in creating iconic artwork,  LoveSomeDay, which is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York City

Chereskin’s success in the art world led to his entry into fashion with sport shirts and neckwear. Ron applied his unique sense of design and color and grew the business into a powerful and important part of retail. The American consumer loved Ron’s approach to fashion which led to Ron Chereskin shops in many fine stores across America and Europe such as: Saks Fifth Ave, Bloomingdale’s , Harrods, Galerie Lafayette to name few. Ron continued to bring innovative fabrics, color and silhouette to his burgeoning business from Men’s underwear, sportswear to Men’s clothing and everything in between. Ron’s unique design sensibility led to him winning many prestigious fashion awards, the Cutty Sark Award, Coty Award, Woolmark award among others.

Ron’s fashion influences came from everyday New York street culture, Studio 54, Greenwich Village, Cinema, Travel, love of animals, central park Etc. Chereskin continued to invent and reinvent men’s fashion and showcased his work throughout his career at the world famous Seventh on Sixth runway shows, where the media from WWD to the New York Times applauded his work

Ron, after many years in fashion , recently returned to his love for creating art, where it all started at the Art Students League, he began his creative and passionate work with acrylic and ink hand screens. In under two years, he was awarded the prestigious Red Dot (Optical Lines) and Blue Dot (Tribute to Flaco) awards. Presently, Ron Chereskin’s acrylic and ink hand screens, hang on the walls of many distinguished art lovers.
